Meet ​​Jackie Hand

As a Bodywork and Movement Practitioner, Jackie specializes in Movement Education and Connective Tissue and CranioSacral Therapies to minimize pain. Both Connective Tissue Techniques and CranioSacral Therapy are fascia-based modalities.

As a Bodywork and Movement Practitioner, Jackie specializes in Connective Tissue and CranioSacral Therapies and Movement Education. Both Connective Tissue Techniques LLC® and Upledger CranioSacral Therapy are fascia-based modalities.

Jackie as a Movement Educator, has taught a variety of movement classes and workshops based on Laban Movement Analysis/Bartenieff Fundamentals (now LabanBartenieff Movement Studies or LBMS). On the Certificate Program Faculty at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in Brooklyn, New York as Senior Faculty for many years, she has also taught on the faculties of New York University, Teachers College Columbia University and Montclair University in New Jersey. She has presented workshops and classes in the US, Brazil, Germany, and Hungary. She has been on the Bates Dance Festival faculty, taught ballet and modern dance at her own studio in PA, and has been on the dance faculties at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and Gettysburg College in PA.

Jackie has an holistic approach to movement. She integrates her years of dance training and teaching with her movement observation skills and bodywork training to educate clients in body and movement awareness and in their own ability to change their ineffective movement patterns.
