Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) and Barteniff Fundamentals℠ (BF)
LMA/BF is now called Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies (LBMS)
LMA is a description and analysis applicable to all movement. It focuses on the relationship of the body and its dynamics and changing shape through space. BF is the organization and understanding of movement patterning and dynamics of your body in space. LMA and BF are not independent from one another. An LBMS perspective of movement allows for change. LBMS as a form of body and movement awareness and re-education provides an opportunity to enhance your quality of movement function and expressivity in all areas of your movement life.
